SANDWICH — The Rochelle Lady Hub varsity basketball team mounted a furious fourth-quarter comeback Tuesday evening, when the Lady Hubs found themselves trailing late in an Interstate 8 Conference matchup against Sandwich.
Trailing 30-21 entering the fourth quarter, Rochelle rallied for a 22-4 run behind seniors Abby Luxton and Adriannah Davis-Carter, who combined for 17 points in the game as the Lady Hubs outlasted the Indians 43-34 for their second straight conference road win. Luxton scored nine points for Rochelle (12-15, 5-7 Interstate 8), while Davis-Carter added eight points and freshman Kendyl Darby recorded seven points.
