The Rochelle Lady Hub varsity bowling team finished fourth out of six schools in the Interstate 8 Conference meet at Echo Lanes on Monday. Rochelle scored 4,852 over six games, with freshman Cassidy Vincent rolling a team-high 996 series to take 11th overall in the meet.

MORRIS — The Rochelle Lady Hub varsity bowling team finished fourth out of six schools in the Interstate 8 Conference meet at Echo Lanes on Monday. Rochelle scored 4,852 over six games, with freshman Cassidy Vincent rolling a team-high 996 series to take 11th overall in the meet.

Sophomore Faith Adams fired a 926 series for 16th place and senior Alyssa Mickley added an 824 series for 21st place. Sophomore Anahi Alanis and junior Aarchi Sorathia earned seventh-place and ninth-place high bowler honors in the JV competition with scores of 699 and 595.

Rochelle’s varsity team rolled 744 in the first game, with Vincent shooting 179 and Adams totaling 149. The Lady Hubs scored 770 in the second game and 750 in the third game to finish the first half of the tournament with 2,264. Vincent led Rochelle with a 477 first-half series.

The Lady Hubs recorded two of their best games in the second half of the meet, shooting 907 in the fourth game behind Vincent’s 175 and Mickley’s 171. Adams followed with 161 and senior Zoe Rourke rolled 159 for Rochelle in the fourth game. After 774 in the fifth game, Rochelle finished the meet with 908 in the sixth game, with Adams scoring 193 to lead the Lady Hubs. Adams finished with a team-high 523 second-half series, while Vincent ended with 519.
