Eswood School students are proud to announce the arrival of new books to the school library. On April 17, a $4,000 Back to Books Grant was awarded to Eswood School Library providing funds to purchase library books in print. The library was able to purchase over 100 books that meet the needs of age appropriate resources for second and third grade students’ reports subject to animals and biographies. Funding for this grant was awarded by the Illinois State Library, A Department of the Office of Secretary of State, using funds provided by the U.S. Institute of Museum and Library Services, under the provisions of the Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA). Pictured are second and third graders with the new books.
